About

This winter, 3 design apprentices worked on creating digital stories.

They developed their own stories, characters and artwork for this website. See their artist statements below:

Doodlio's bubble TrICK'S

My name is Doodlio. I am female and I come from the eagle country.

I make four panel comics.

First, I figure out a theme to explore. Then, I try to imagine a way to convey the theme in a specific scenario and I simply sketch it out with pencil and paper.

It’s a way for me to explore various topics in a thought-provoking manner.

Hayao Miyazaki is one that inspires me because of his artistic integrity and unique perspective on things.

As far as my writing philosophy goes: I simply prefer subtlety and nuance and to respect the audience’s intelligence as much as I can.

Elements of Iyora
by katie

Hello! I'm Katie and I am an artist from Eugene, Oregon. I plan on going to the University of Oregon and majoring in Art and Technology.

When I'm not procrastinating on it, I love drawing and creative writing. Elements of Iyora is one of many stories I have come up with, and I hope to develop it into a full-fledged series.

In addition to art, I am very normal about Pokemon, fashion dolls, and the band Set it Off.
